SURE-FIRE and SIMPLE. What else do you need?

When it's time to get serious about making some extra money, and in this case doing it on the Internet, what do you look for?

Do you look to see what everyone else is doing, and join that?

Do you find something that fits right in with your abilities, training, and interests, and get involved in that?

Do you try to find something that will start generating income as rapidly as possible...especially in this economy?

I would not recommend the first suggestion above. If you join something that lots of people are already involved in, you are going to find some fierce competition for new prospects. Back when the Internet was young, there were a few times when something came along that was so hot and attracted so much attention that you could probably have jumped on board successfully and ridden the wave, too.

Today it's almost impossible to create that kind of wave. People online today have been beaten up and scammed and deceived, or know someone who has, so that the general level of skepticism is extremely high. Today there are lots of websites that exist only to find and expose the scams, or perceived scams. 

How about the next two criteria above? Do you want to focus on your own particular interests, training, and abilities, or be an adventurer and explore beyond those attributes? And how quickly do you need to see some money coming in?

I'm asking these questions, first, because they NEED to be asked. They're important questions. But secondly, I want to suggest something to you that should give you a substantial level of comfort, particularly on questions 2 and 3.
