SAD NEWS FOR ALL OF US FROM CBS-TV

This past Sunday I felt tired so I skipped Church and had my morning coffee in front
of the TV watching the CBS Morning Show where the lead story was about America's
so-called "New Normal."

What was reported was that our economy that's been in the crapper since we squandered
our blood and fortune on foreign soil instead of investing it at home, has not rebounded
as the press has reported lately.

CBS interviewed leading economists who all agreed that for the first time in
American history a recession will not bounce back but will leave us having to
learn to settle for less. They agreed that:

• There will be no rebound in employment.
• There will be no rebound in housing.
• There will be no rebound in construction.
• There will be no rebound in incomes.
• There will be no rebound in school budgets (teachers will still have to spend their salaries on paper and pencils).
• What there will be is an indefinite continuance of difficult choices, like between food or medicine.
